The worktable guide

Print with confidence

A few quiet settings make a large difference. Read this first, then follow the Print Guide included with your Moss & Toad download.

The size every sheet is

Every Moss & Toad sheet is US Letter — 8.5 × 11 inches — at 300 DPI. Print on US Letter paper at 100% so that folds, pockets and cut lines land exactly where they were drawn.

Choose the paper

Use a smooth matte presentation paper for most pages and medium cardstock for covers, tags, and pieces that need structure. Check your printer’s supported weight first.

Keep the scale true

Select Actual Size or 100% unless the Print Guide says otherwise. Turn off Fit to Page when accurate folds, pockets, or tabs matter.

Double-sided where it is asked for

Some fold-up models are printed on both sides — a mushroom printed on one side has no cap. Where a sheet asks for double-sided printing, print both sides on the same paper, flip on the short edge, and run one test sheet to check how your printer registers front to back.

Score first, then cut

Score every main fold before you cut anything out: a scored fold is crisp, a folded-then-scored one is not. Let the ink dry fully before scoring, cutting, or stacking.

Where the cut starts

Every sheet carries a trim margin around the artwork with a small Moss & Toad mark in it. Start your cut on the printed cut line just inside that margin — the margin and the mark are what fall away, never part of a piece.

What you print from

Your Etsy download holds the print-ready PDF and a high-quality JPG of every page — print from either. The studio library on this site holds the same pages as lossless PNG masters at 300 DPI, for cutting machines, digital use, and anything you want to resize.

Print one test sheet

Before printing a full collection, test a page with a ruler or a known-size element. It costs one sheet and saves a whole set.
