What Moss & Toad stores to deliver your files, how long it is kept, and the one cookie this site uses.
Who we are
Moss & Toad Paper Co. is a division of PolonTek. Every message about this website, an order, a file, a license or a privacy request reaches the same mailbox: support@mossandtoad.com.
What we store
Delivery is designed to hold protected fingerprints rather than readable details. When you open your downloads we store a one-way hash of your delivery email, of your product code, of the optional Etsy order reference and of your network address, together with the times of the request. We do not store your readable email address, your code, your order number, your payment details or anything Etsy holds about your purchase.
Why we store it
To issue your download links, to keep your re-downloads working, to answer a support message, and to detect abuse of the delivery service. Newsletter consent is recorded separately and is never required to receive purchased files.
How long we keep it
Delivery grants are kept while the product is still offered, so your re-downloads keep working. A one-use link expires after 30 minutes and a download session after 24 hours: once either has lapsed it is refused, and the lapsed record stays in the delivery database rather than being erased on a timetable. The hashed request and audit records are kept in the same way, for support and to detect abuse, and newsletter consent is kept until you withdraw it. Nothing here is deleted automatically: to have what is held for you removed, write to support@mossandtoad.com from the delivery email you used and we will delete it by hand.
Cookies
One cookie, and only after you open your downloads: a functional session cookie named __Host-mt_session that remembers your 24-hour download session. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking cookie on this site. The security check on the Download Center is Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not profile you.
Your choices
You may decline the newsletter and still receive every file you bought. To ask what is held for you, to withdraw consent, or to ask for deletion, write to support@mossandtoad.com; because the records are hashed, please write from the delivery email you used.
Etsy holds the sale
Your purchase, your payment details and your order history live with Etsy under Etsy's own privacy policy. This website never sees them and cannot change them.
